I just started sketching recently this year and hopefully there will be more to upload this upcoming year 2017. I'm looking forward to everyone's thoughts on how I'm progressing.

See you all again soon.

So yeah, Mint here is one of my alternative but final work from Pluff (this is still WIP though). As of the history of how I worked on her, it took me 4 months. Why? I started doing art since last year on October and then I stopped uploading because I want my art to be good, unique and something that I enjoy working on so I started going though a lot of sketching tutorials ranging from anatomy, perspective, coloring and shading and also adding my tastes in it.
This is a fan art for one of my favorite and inspired artist, Napkit . If you guys are interested in fluffy creatures, you can check out his works :))

1st month: Anatomy and body structure training.
2nd month: Image training and clothes composition.
3rd month: Color training and shading.
4th month: Personalized character making and process.

The final work will feature a suitable background, an introductory story and also the scanned version to make it look clean. Please tell me on how I'm progressing so far; your comments, suggestions and thoughts are deeply appreciated! :meow:
So as for my rating, this would go 8/10

-1. I got confused on the cross-guard part of what he's holding and thought it was a claw finger. I figured that it was the blur and blend of the blue from the finger that made it look like its part of the body.

-2. Highlight; Some parts of the body seem to stand out more than the actual part of the body or thing -- like the left knee, it stands out more than the surging sword and also the right shoulder, the highlights didn't really match the image since the light is located on the right side and darkness is on the left.

Other comments? Just be careful on where you add the lights on the body and also try not to blend the objects together to avoid confusion.

Your works are very interesting so keep it up!
I got it!! I may have to sketch and practice some simple knight armor mixed with Anthro. This is going to be a new goal! <3
In most cases, I'm not yet too good with the angle of the feet and hips but I'm getting there little by little. Youtube, thank you for the tutorials x3
Pluff :3 Art Inspired by @Napkit
Let image: Sketch Book
Right Image: MS Paint (Traced)

I don't know why I traced her on MS paint but I think I can use it for a digital version of her with colors :))

I gives me that urge to buy a new laptop with a an OSU pad / Art Pad to do the work, I got a lot of pending sketches that I like to color. Most of my work is black and white QwQ

Thank you so much for your inspiring works Napkit and TysonTan!! I will continue doing these until I get a better hang of it and soon I'll be able to make a digital version of every sketch that I made so far!
Chapter 1: The End, the start, the beginning.

When I was still a small kid, I loved to imagine a lot of things from fantasy weapons (specially swords) to Knights with a mix of techno. I always wonder what I want to base my art from because I was thinking of being able to do Manga characters but then I thought that it wasn't the one that made my motivation burning with passion so I searched for something else. For some time later, I stopped to sketch and draw and thought of just watching anime on TV, reading manga and playing online games on the computer but I soon realize that, looking at the real world, "What's my talent?". I thought about it over and over and I stopped to think again. I just continued to go along with my life as time passes by and it has been more than 3 years since I stopped to draw something on clear paper until one day my cousin came to my house and asked if I can draw a scenery for him about "Pollution", it was his upcoming project to be submitted on the FOLLOWING DAYDisbelief . I asked him why he's just saying this now? He explained that he was working on it but the images are as bad as the Scribbles fro the cartoon series "Foster home for imaginary friends". That made me laugh but I'm not going to show a single smirk on my faceLa la la la ; hold it in Vex, HOLD IT! So after that I took his offer and drew what I can about pollution. I started with panels, just like in mangas, and then started off with egg heads (lmao)Floating  with bubble dialogues and a simple background to fill in some effects. I was able to finish it on time and I never thought that making such a simple project with characters could be so much fun to do and then something really fuzzy started to wiggle in my heart like something I want to do often and improve it and then my mom came next to me while I'm holding my cousin's project and said "Your father was once an architect, he loved to draw buildings and also art projects. I see that you got his talent". I realized that drawing/sketching was part of who I am and what I'm very passionate about.

On the next following day, I grabbed my laptop and chatted with my artistic friend Mori Meow :3 (This is her name when she's being addressed as an artist) to ask some recommendations on what to buy for noob-artist kit (lol). So she told me to buy Faber Castell pencils, a set of 48 colors Stare , and also Faber Castell led pencils, eraser, sharpener and and a 0.5 or 0.7 UniPin ink pen (for outlining). Last thing that she recommended me is "what kind of art would you like to base your work on?" and again I'm stuck at square one Oh Noes! . I have no idea what I should draw! Mori recommended me to search for an artist in and so I did Sherlock Holmes. I have searched everywhere from Emo, Gothic, Knights, Cyborgs and other futuristic stuff but no luck. I kept on searching still until I found TysonTan's work and instantly fell in love with every art he madeLove ! I've never been fired up for such a long time and its going to be a tough road for me from here but I'm going to do my best to improve :happybounce: .
